and biodiversity and genetic resources. Among the many sources
of land use land cover data are Socioeconomic
Data and Applications Center of CIESIN and USGS
sells a land cover CD for the coterminus U.S. |

listings. Our efforts at documenting, indexing, and distributing
data are a work in progress. Although we cannot currently
provide all the information you need to locate all data on
this server, we will try to provide as much as possible at
any given stage of a project. |

for any given layer. The Catalog and the Clearinghouse
will probably never be complete, but as we finish documentation
for existing data sets, and for those that result from
ongoing research projects we will add as much information
to these pages as we can at various stages. |

CAST does not 'own' all the data sets that reside in
