John starting working at CAST in 1995, specializing in Geographic Information Systems, Cartography, and Remote Sensing. He gradually moved into web programming and systems administration, and has taken on the role of Director of Technology.
Recent research projects include the Corona Atlas of the Middle East, Gabii Project Database Interface, Historic Little Rock Visualization, TEVUS Terrorism Analysis Portal, and Revisiting Arkansas Historical Washington State Park.
John provides technical support to University of Arkansas campus ESRI software users, and provides software and data support for a variety of geospatial software users in federal, state, local, and private organizations.
